Getting Started

Regardless of a person’s past athletic experience or current level of fitness, everyone who first comes to CrossFit Westfield is provided with the opportunity to learn about basic techniques, terminology, pre-workout warm ups and exercises before participating in regular CrossFit Westfield classes. These are our Intro to CrossFit classes. Taught by one of our head trainers, these classes are for first-timers only.

Intro to CrossFit classes are kept to very small sizes to ensure one-on-one attention. As you work through the four consecutive sessions you and your fellow newcomers will learn about the correct form for basic, functional CrossFit movements, and slowly work up to increase your level of intensity. Intro to CrossFit is the perfect place to ask questions and make some new friends before transitioning into our regular classes.

Getting started is as easy as 3 steps:

  1. Attend one of our regularly scheduled classes for a FREE INTRO (all movements will be scaled to your current fitness level).
  2. Sign up for one of our Intro to CrossFit Classes
  3. Become a member!
